Description: Its a novel wax-free matting agent with catalyzed effect for Epoxy/Polyester hybrid and PES/TGIC system. The use of this product provides above both system powder coating with the gloss ranges of 40 to 70%. The semi- gloss, better anti-yellowing and exceptional flow of coating can be obtained.
Appearance: Very fine gray white to pale yellow color powder
Melting point: Less than 200 celsiur scale (acco***nying decomposition)
Volatile: Larger than 0.5%
Application:
It provides the low gloss of 60-70% for PES/TGIC based powder coatings without affecting to its weather-resistance, anti-yellowing, flow and mechanical property. Such ranges of gloss usually were proper for application to aluminum extruded window or door profile.
No waxy releaser presented in surface of coating co***red with when RB330was used alone. So this is beneficial to formulate deep or dark color coating and avoid such defects as difficult to extruding and grinding so on in process arising from using RB330.
When it was used, even though at less usage levels, in polyester/epoxy hybrid based powder coatings, the relative good matte effects such as semi-gloss under 40% could be obtained.
It offers overbaking stability for above both coating systems and is recommended to use in ranges of anti-yellowing properties needed. Suggested formulation Polyester/epoxy hybrid.
